TAZARA is a bi-national railway owned by the two governments of Tanzania and Zambia on a 50-50 basis, with its Registered Head Office in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. TAZARA links the Southern Africa Regional transport network to Eastern Africa, Asia and the Far East, operating both passenger and freight services. The total railway network between Dar es Salaam and New Kapiri Mposhi covers 1,860km, passing through 93 stations, the main ones being Dar es Salaam, Ifakara, Mlimba, Mbeya, Tunduma, Nakonde, Kasama, Mpika and New Kapiri Mposhi, plus the liaison offices in Lusaka and Ndola.
